Will Smith ready to perform at Latin Grammys after releasing first song in ten years

The announcement follows the release of the Independence Day star’s first single in ten years.
“I’m shaking the rust off, knocking the dust off,” he told BBC radio 1’s Zane Lowe of his return to music.
Smith, who last released an album in 2005, has made a comeback with Fiesta, his collaboration with Colombian band Bomba Estereo.
“I was in Colombia with Marc Anthony, he was listening to music and I heard (the song) Fuego,” he said, “and I was like ‘I’ve got to join this, this is crazy’ and then almost completely unrelated we came back and my manager Miguel ... was like ‘this is the group that you were listening to’ and I was like ‘that is crazy, I need to be on that’”.
Smith raps in both English and Spanish for the song, which he is scheduled to perform with the electro group at the awards show in Las Vegas on 19 November.
“Performing at the Latin Grammy Awards is a huge honour for me,” he says, “I’ll be surrounded by so many talented artists whose music has such profound global impact. I can’t think of a more perfect place for Bomba Estereo and I to perform Fiesta Remix for the first time onstage.”

Fiesta starring Will Smith Will recently announced he was back in the studio working on his own material, telling EW.com, “I’m pretty much poppin’ in the studio everyday and I’m looking for artists to collaborate with ... I’ve probably recorded 30 songs. I have six or seven that I really like.”

He also said he would be teaming up with his former partner DJ Jazzy Jeff for a tour in the summer.
